- Growing Revenues: For the three months ended September 30, 2007, the Company had total sales of approximately $815,000, up approximately 103% from the $401,000 in sales of the same period in 2006. In addition, through the first nine months of 2007, total sales were $1,415,000, an increase of more than 72% over the $820,000 in sales that the Company generated in the first three months of 2006. Through continued development of its business plan focused on fostering additional growth, CHDT and its subsidiaries expect to see this type of growth continue into 2008 and beyond.
- Brand Name Recognition: As an official licensee of the Armor All/STP Products company, CHDT subsidiary Capstone Industries offers a complete line of Power Tools and Automotive Accessories under the internationally recognized STP® brand (www.stptools.com). After years of supplying the public with products they can trust, STP® has earned the respect and loyalty of millions of automotive enthusiasts worldwide. The formula for acceptance is simple: The products consistently live up to claims of performance improvement. Through this partnership, Capstone Industries offers a broad range of products, including Power Tools, Shop Lights, Portable Power Solutions, Air Compressors, and Garage Accessories, all under the famous STP® brand. This partnership goes beyond simple commercial ties, as Capstone was recently the primary sponsor for the #81 MacDonald Motorsports Dodge, driven by DJ Kennington at Daytona International Speedway on February 16th, 2008 and will remain a major associate sponsor for the rest of the season . CHDT believes that the distribution capabilities of Capstone in combination with the powerful brand recognition of STP® Products will continue to generate strong revenues and form an important segment of the Company's business.
- Solid Core Business: For the past 10 years, Capstone has been a recognized leader in innovative and unique booklights, all purpose multi-task lights and novelty lights. Capstone's branded, patented and trademarked Timely Reader® booklights have contributed to its leadership in the booklight category, and its unique personal lighting products are designed for the new "mobile" consumer. Distribution comprises numerous and varied channels including mass market, drug and grocery, book chains, office supply, convenience stores, automotive chains and warehouse. Retailers nationwide have long recognized Capstone for its creative packaging, practical and functional product features and value driven price points. Focusing on the needs of the consumer, Capstone will continue to take a leadership position and produce thoughtfully designed products encompassing the latest lighting technologies, features and benefits. In March of 2008, Capstone's parent company announced that it has been awarded a 2008-2009 commitment for its private label book light program with all Target Stores nationwide.
- New Niche Markets: Recently, Capstone announced that its line of Simply Comfort products have been re-ordered by Smarthome.com due to brisk sales and low inventory. In addition Smarthome has added book lights which have been shipped and are online now at www.smarthome.com, keyword: book lights. Under its Simply Comfort line, Capstone produces a unique assortment of Memory Foam, Massager, and MP3 Speaker comfort products developed to relax and re-fresh the mind, body and soul. The success of Apple's iPod and other MP3 players has spawned a $2 Billion industry, and Simply Comfort's assortment of accessories, including the MP3 Tune Shades, MP3 Tune Wrap, and MP3 Tune Pillow are unique niche products developed to capitalize on this rapidly growing segment. Recently the company took orders from Basics Etc., an automotive distributor and expects the product to hit retail in the coming months.
