  • Forging Reality: CellCyte Genetics Corp. is developing products that have the potential to render science fiction into science fact. The benefits of stem cell therapy have been well publicized, with the potential not only to treat, but even to regenerate damaged tissue in virtually every single organ of the body. The list of afflictions that can potentially be treated with stem cell therapies is virtually endless, but the most significant obstacles to treatment are the ability to effectively deliver stem cells to affected areas non-invasively and non-traumatically, and to keep adequate numbers of stem cells in the target area. CellCyte has developed its core therapeutic technologies that permit the first delivery and retention of stem cells through the patient's circulatory/vascular system, and the Company's initial discoveries have already been validated in extensive internal preclinical studies.
  • Major Market Opportunity: What has largely been lost in the highly charged debate surrounding stem cells is that the adult stem cell market has already posted big gains. One report states that the market for stem cell technology is currently $500 million and has been estimated to grow to $30 billion as early as 2010 (Source: DMD), and another predicts the international cell therapy market will be worth $56.2 billion by 2010 and $96.3 billion in 2015 (Source: Research and Markets). In addition, CellCyte also has developed additional technologies that it intends to market for the creation of multiple revenue streams, including the world's first three-dimensional bioreactor cell expansion and incubation technology and CellCyte's stem cell purification platform which the first generation had undergone successful clinical trials in 28 countries and 60 cancer centers in the U.S., and had received both US FDA approval as well as European regulatory approvals.
  • Versatile Technology: One inhibiting factor standing in the way of success in stem cell research is the tremendous controversy surrounding the harvesting of fetal stem cells. In spite of the debate there is tremendous pressure on the medical community to explore all avenues of research. According to Douglas Melton, co-director of the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, "There is no disagreement among scientists over the need to aggressively pursue both [adult stem cells and embryonic stem cells] in order to solve important medical problems" (Source: TIME Magazine). An important feature of the CellCyte technology is that it is seen to be compatible with most any and all types of stem cells, and provides the crucial delivery component of stem cell therapies without necessitating some of the extensive research and development investment of stem cell research.
  • Solid Management: Having a capable, knowledgeable management team is a must in any industry, but particularly in one where the emphasis on technical aptitude is so great. CellCyte Genetics is led by a multi-talented team of highly trained experts with extensive backgrounds in all phases critical to the Company's success. This management team has already led the Company to several successes, having completed licensing negotiations and the acquisition of the assets of another biotechnology company, greatly expanded patent intellectual property platforms, hired key individuals, identified and executed a lease and is in final build-out of its 26,000 sq ft corporate and research facility, and funded CellCyte externally as a public company. In addition, the Company is poised for further accomplishments. According to President and CEO Gary Reys, "CellCyte has an extensive and broad intellectual property framework and product pipeline in place consisting of U.S. patents issued, and both U.S. and foreign patents pending for numerous therapeutic and organ regenerative discoveries relating to the world's first stem cell organ delivery and organ repair compounds."
