Delta Mining and Exploration Corp. (OTC: DMXC) is a mineral exploration company that controls more than 7,500 acres in the potentially diamond-rich zones of Montana. The Company has chosen to focus on this region for several reasons, including the history and frequency of the discovery of so-called placer diamond across the region, the high prevalence of “diamond indicator” mineral deposits that indicate conditions conducive to diamond formation, and the astounding success of other highly productive diamond mines to the north in Canada.
