- Impressive Client List: Patriot Scientific has licensed its technology to numerous major players in the electronics and computing industries. The company's clients include Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Fujitsu, Sony, AMD, Pentax, Olympus, and Casio. In September of 2006, Patriot Scientific announced that it had added Kenwood Corporation to its list of clients. Kenwood became the ninth major manufacturer in as many months to purchase a license from Patriot Scientific. Over 300 companies around the world have been notified that they are licensing candidates in connection with of their apparent use of the patented technology.
- Paying Dividends: Patriot Scientific has been paying dividends for its clients, literally. Earlier in 2006, the Board of Directors of Patriot Scientific rewarded the confidence of its shareholders by voting to pay cash dividends twice in the span of six weeks. - Huge Market: The market for microprocessors continues to make impressive gains. Worldwide sales of semiconductors totaled $20.1 billion in July, up over 11.5% from July 2005 and an increase of 1.8% from the $19.8 billion in sales reported in June 2006 (Source Semiconductor Industry Association). "The worldwide semiconductor industry is on track to surpass $240 billion in sales this year, which represents a new record, according to SIA President George Scalise. As more and more products demand high performance microprocessors, the technology of Patriot Scientific should continue to become more valuable.
- Patent Protections: Patriot Scientific has unified its interests with its joint venture partner the TPL Group in a valuable portfolio of fundamental microprocessor patents that protect the companies' unique technology. These patents are at the center of the estimated $200+ billion microprocessor end-use market. TPL and Patriot Scientific jointly hold ten patents, three of which the company believes are elemental to virtually every microprocessor design. The patents do not expire until 2015, and Patriot Scientific is actively working towards maximizing the value of this patent portfolio.
