Conglomerates
- Across-the-Board Performance: The company's Telecommunications division includes Oblio Telecom, Inc., the second largest publicly owned international prepaid telecommunications company, and Titan Wireless Communications, Inc., operating in the high growth wireless telecommunications sector. Titan Global's Electronics and Homeland Security division includes UL® Registered and ISO Registered state-of-the-art printed circuit board manufacturing facilities in Fremont, CA and Amesbury, MA. In October 2006, the company announced that its subsidiary Oblio Telecom had generated $89 million in revenues for the 2006 fiscal year, and its Electronics and Homeland Security division had set a new record with $20 million in revenues in 2006.
- Anticipated Success: Recently, Titan Global released revenue guidance for the 2007 fiscal year, projecting stellar revenues of more than $140 million, and EBITDA of $17.5 million. Its strong performing subsidiary Oblio Telecom was forecast to generate approximately $100 million in fiscal 2007 revenue. In addition, the Electronics and Homeland Security division revenues grew by 25% from 2005 to 2006, and had record bookings through the first month of Q1 2007. As the company continues to capitalize on the expanding global demand for next generation communication products and services and the convergence of integrated communications, advanced technology, and commercial transactions, the forecast for success is impressive.
- Strong Sectors: In the wireless telecommunications sector, just one of the industries in which Titan Global's subsidiaries take part, strong growth has become the expected norm. Revenue in the U.S. wireless market alone reached $174.7 billion in 2005, up 10.7% from 2005, and revenue from wireless devices was up 22.6% YOY in 2005, to a total of $15 billion (Source: Mergent). Other Titan subsidiaries operate in the Homeland Security sector, and total federal spending for homeland securities activities in just the 2006 fiscal year are projected to reach a minimum of $50 billion.
- Icing on the Cake: Titan Global Holdings also recently announced that independent auditors concluded that the company should recognize $3.5 million in a one time gain for recovery of past federal excise taxes. This gain will be added over and above the impressive 2006 fiscal revenues, already in excess of $110 million. In addition, Titan also expects that the recent expansion of www.WhyUseIt.com will account for $10 million in revenues and $2 million in EBITDA within the calendar year 2008.
