- Making News: In March of 2008, iTeknik announced an agreement to provide SpeedyPin.com with four new private label prepaid phone products. This contract is estimated to be worth $2 million per year to its subsidiary, TeleCents Communications. Also in February of 2008, the Company released consolidated financial statements for the six months ended December 31, 2007. Highlights of the report included:
- Sales in the first half of FY 2008 were $7,454,740
- Operating income in the second quarter increased to $110,048
- Net income in the second quarter increased to $92,960
- EBITDA for the six months ending December 31, 2007 was $121,630
- Net cash increased by $206,853 in the three months ending December 31, 2007
- Booming Telecom Market: Just about any way you look at it, the telecommunications industry is surging. From June of 1995 to June of 2007, the number of wireless subscribers in the U.S. rose from 28.1 Million to 243.4 Million, or from 11% of the total population to over 80%. The number of SMS messages, not even tracked in 1995, was nearly 29 Billion every single month (Source: CTIA.org). The global mobile phones market grew by 15.6% in 2005 to reach $81.2 Billion and is projected to reach $131.2 Billion in 2010, an increase of 61.6% in just five years. The Chinese mobile phones market is growing even more rapidly, having risen by 20.8% in 2005 to reach a value of $10.2 Billion (Source: Datamonitor). The number of mobile phone subscribers worldwide topped 2 Billion in 2005, and is expected to reach 3.96 Billion by 2011 (Source: Portio Research).

The Company's proprietary software can be engineered to serve the unique demands of resellers, allowing for greater penetration into niche markets that are frequently inaccessible to larger, less flexible telecommunications companies. iTeknik has developed a carefully structured approach that specializes in three core levels of the telecommunications industry: carrier wholesale services, resale distribution, and end user products and services. Through diversification, iTeknik is able to capitalize on emerging trends in this dynamic and mercurial industry.
- Broad Range of Services: The iTeknik infrastructure currently supports more than 100 carrier- and consumer-based products and services, derived from a wide range of core categories. These include VoIP origination and termination, A-Z routing and switching, wholesale carrier services, reseller billing and reporting, web-based reseller solutions, prepaid calling card solutions, international cellular calling, and retail P.O.S. solutions. The Company's in-house engineers also give iTeknik the capability not only to stay current with new technology, but to actually be at the forefront of the industry in the creation of new solutions.
